Volunteers are the heartbeat of who we are and how we reach our year long goals. People from all backgrounds and skill levels attend our week-long camp sharing their passion for building the next generation of strong, independent, well-rounded girls!
Ages for Counselors/Volunteers:
Junior Counselors: 6th - 9th Grade
Counselors: 10th grade - College
Volunteers: College - Adult
Grade Counselors- You will be responsible for a group according to grade. You will rotate with the same group of campers throughout the day through crafts, bible study, outdoor games, morning and afternoon celebration, movie/snack, and lunch. These positions are for counselors that are organized and responsible with keeping up with campers and their belongings throughout the day.
Craft Counselors- You will be responsible for setting up and cleaning up the daily crafts as different groups come through the rotation throughout the day. This position will require you testing out sample crafts before camp starts!
Indoor/Outdoor Games Counselors- Are you active and love to be outside during the summer? This position is for you! You will be responsible for the children's safety outside and participating in the outdoor games.
Bible Study Counselors- You will be responsible for working hand in hand with directors to plan bible studies for each age level and group to come through. If you like to teach, or want to teach, this counseling position is for you!
Celebration Team Counselors- You are responsible for getting the campers excited to be at camp! You will choreograph dances and songs for morning and afternoon celebration. You will also get to lead games and activities on stage.
Our available positions at Camp Glam continue to grow each year, and we couldn't be happier to let counselors of any age and background fill those shoes. In the event of an overwhelming amount of applications, please keep in mind that we cannot accept everyone. Positions will be filled based on age, experience, availability, and more.
Daily breakfast and lunch will be provided for volunteers and counselors. If you have allergies, please plan to pack snacks and lunch for the week.
Dress Code: Please follow the dress code provided on the mandatory zoom on April 30th. Each counselor will be required to wear the coordinating shirt for each day and appropriate bottoms of choice!
When you fill out your registration form, be open-minded and know that we do our absolute best to fill positions that best suit the counselor and benefit Camp Glam as a whole.
